What is VLTD?
VLTD (Vehicle Location Tracking Device) is a government-mandated GPS tracking system required for commercial vehicles in India under the Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act 2019 and Central Motor Vehicle Rules. It requires vehicles to have an approved GPS device that transmits location data to a central server monitored by the government.
